Main jindagi ka saath nibhata chala .............

2015, don't know how to describe it. Was sort of mixed bags for me. But, isn't the case with every year. Without the spice of failures, despair, loss, mishaps, the recipe of Life is never complete. An eventful year indeed. 2 dreaded semesters, lots of performances, studies, rebels, trips, mishaps, adventures; it had all stored within itself.

Hope the coming year be a less on challenges than  2015, a little less adrenaline rush is what I wish for Santa !!!!!!!

2016 !!!!!!
New year, New dreams, New war to be won !!!!!

And yes the customary line of the year:-

Answer to every quest is Dream.
Dream big.
Dream on and on.
And then, relieve those Dreams in Real .........

                                                                               -------A.K.

Thnkxx mummy,papa. For everything.

Thank you friends, you all saved my day. Picked me from my all-time low. All the endless masti, random trips, all night poker, end night study, random gossips, night-outs, huh.... Epic 12 months!!

And yes special mention to Street Play Team- 5 plays, 8 performances in a year. Looking back, don't know how I managed it, but, yes its all due to awesome team members. One hell of a performance in Rendezvous!!! And yes, love you seniors..........

Life after Birth

It's quite a while after my last post. The following story I stumbled on one of the Facebook post.
It provides a different insight to every discussion we are indulged in. Inspirational, least to say, Being philosophical, I treat this story as a backdrop to all the countless religious discussion on existence of god.

Originally written in Hungarian by Útmutató a Léleknek.

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?” The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
“Nonsense,” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”
The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”
The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover, if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”
“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”
The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”
The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”
Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”
To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

#Nostalgia

Dedicated to Manchalaon ki toli - street play team.

2015 and IInd semester

2015 !!!!!
New year, new dreams, new battles to be won....

As I wrote earlier, I spent my 31st night traveling in train, thanks to Indian railway and this weather. Out of boredom, I started sharing weird status on my facebook account... here's one of them:-

"Everyone have their own unique way of celebrating new year...

Some would be with their parents, some with friends, some in hostel, some alone, some hooked to their cellphone with his gf, some partying hard with friends.

But, for me ......
I would wake my co - passengers of train minutes before the time... And then,,
                    10,9,8,7,,,,,,,,
                                   HAPPY NEW YEAR......"

Just the silver lining was coming back to hostel... with your friends receiving you at 7 o'clock in this chilling weather, the ones who would not wake up at 9 for the class in summer :P .

But,as I always mention about law of averages.... The time your happiness quotient increases the devil smiles at you. And this time the devil is courses at 8am in morning. And to compliment it, today rain god smiled upon us with the chilly wind at his side.
It can't be more shivering start for the IInd semester.

Going through the academic calendar, one finds 1st exam for this semester starts on       "14th feb".
Even IIT officials mock us "Beta, tumse na ho payega...."
