THE SANDS OF TIME. I was thinking about writing this post for very long , not finding a suitable title, i thought this post is all about time and time , and this phrase couldn't be a better heading.

hmmmm, d busy schedule of i.i.t.  or is it really busy???? or we are so lazy and procastinating things that we believe there's huge crunch of time.

let's check out d schedule of a 1st year iitian (this schedule is of iit Delhi )- 

10:00a.m.-1:00p.m.(1 day - class starts from 9:00a.m.)

2:00p.m.-4:00p.m.(2days classes till 5:00p.m.)

so in avg. 6 hrs. of class everyday looped to 5 days of week.

now counting the hrs. spent on assignments, projects,lab works.. insti proposes u have to spend as much as hrs per week according to credits registered . in first year we have 17 credits course system. hence, 17 hrs. of self study in total per week. 

now, u can easily calculate one have a lot of time, even if they follow the system , which we of course not do. so, we must have a lot of time to do, that's d problem . it's not true ....

The most dreaded part is yet to come the max. time consuming , most non productive thing. BAKCHODI--funny to read it......its a iit delhi slang for all the non productive debate , talks and discussions.

i don't know how many hrs, actually days wasted on this. it's just 3 months and i can feel how much time i have wasted which could be utilised in many other activities.u just sit in a group with ur friends and what u need is not  topic , just a single word and then it starts... min. passes in a jiffy , hrs . within clap of hands. don't know how many night out we did for this nonsense. 10 or more friends sit in a single room and d discussions goes on forever.

I.I.T. gives ample opportunities and facilities to excel in any field, not just engg. u can easily figure this out. it's just u discover this as fast as possible and do the need full.

i know its a abrupt ending without concluding anything,      It's d other evil of us ...........we start everything with full enthu (again, slang of iit for enthusiasm) but we don't give it a meaningful ending.....................................................
